#OWNYOURAWESOME WITH SOUTHERN COMFORT SUNDAYZ

On Sunday, 4th October 2015, Southern Comfort celebrated the launch of ‘Comfort Sundayz’ events at eSocial Link in Soweto.

These Southern Comfort inspired events brings the ever popular, smooth, whiskey flavoured inspired spirit to its fans to keep them entertained and feeling comfortable amongst friends #whateverscomfortable.
‘Comfort Sundayz’ will be hosted at four popular venues in Gauteng & the Western Cape across the remainder of the year. The first event at eSocial Link in Soweto hosted Metro FM DJ Mo Flava, and resident DJ Hebert and DJ Frans on the decks remixing the best tunes Jozi has to offer. The remainder of the events will be running every Sunday until the 27 December 2015.

To make things comfortable for guests, each venue will have a Southern Comfort inspired bar set up which offers a variety of Southern Comfort food and drinks combos. This way fans no longer have to wait in long queues and can enjoy an ice cold Southern Comfort beverage while watching the sun go down.

Every hour on the hour, a draw will take place whereby guests stand a chance to win a Southern Comfort give-away.

Furthermore, guests at ‘Comfort Sundayz’ not only get to celebrate the evening with performances by  resident DJ’s but can also expect special guest performances from hip hop star Kwesta, Metro FM’s DJ Mo Flava, DJ Mlu, DJ Sox, DJ Lloyd,  Sir Vincent and DJ Dino Michael.
We are really looking forward to Comfort Sundayz, as this is a great opportunity for Southern Comfort to celebrate the smooth taste of summer with our fans.  The attitude of the brand lends itself to being self-comfortable with yourself, with your friends and with your choices. Comfort Sundayz aim to celebrate being comfortable, says Chantal Canning, South African Brand Manager of Southern Comfort.
These events also celebrate the recent launch of the Southern Comfort #OWNYOURAWESOME national campaign. The #OWNYOURAWESOME campaign is a call to action which aims to reward and inspire the confidence that it takes for people to be themselves by being self-comfortable with who they are.
“Additionally, this campaign allows our fans to raise their hands and tell us how they own their awesome,” continues Canning.
Southern Comfort launched the #OWNYOURAWESOME campaign on 01st October 2015 with a bang at the official launch party at Sir James in Johannesburg. The campaign is led by four Southern Comfort Flagraisers (ambassadors) which were announced on the night – Celeste Ntuli; Black Motion; Eish Hade & Luwayne Wonder.

Southern Comfort are calling all South African’s to show them how you own your awesome, at www.ownyourawesome.co.za, to stand the chance to win R30 000 cash and an advertising package worth R300 000 to showcase your awesomeness.
